Closed For The Holidays ✨
A few things before we go and we'll see ya in 2026!
Our studio will be closed until January 5, 2026 to soak up some well-deserved time off after a great 2025. It’s been an incredible year with our clients, the team, collaborators, and ended things with a few cookies this week. 😉
Thank you all! We hope you have a wonderful holiday season — however you celebrate, and we’ll see ya in the new year! ✌️

😎 Staff Picks
Our staff picks. Every month we like to share something that stood out to us. That could be a new restaurant, maybe a beer we had, tv shows, new music, movies, books, art, design, podcasts, games, etc — you name it!
Since I work remotely from home, I have a tendency to default to a handful of the same outfits: mainly joggers and the usual 5 or so comfy sweaters. Well NAY, I say! In an effort to give equal attention to everything in my closet (and expand the possibilities of my wardrobe sustainably), I have started dressing by the color palettes in the book A Dictionary of Color Combinations by Sanzo Wada. It’s been a fun challenge and use of free will!

My partner gifted me a new pair of house slippers! As someone with cold feet who works from home, this was hype. They’re comfy, pretty, and a good fit. The hardest part will be choosing what color you want (I snagged Persimmon Wax).

I have fought including this as my staff pick, since a NYT best seller doesn’t exactly feel like news, but it was for me! And it’s easily the MVP of my year ... What To Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking by Caro Chambers. First of all, I never feel like cooking so the title applies to me daily. Second of all, the recipes over deliver. They’re easy, affordable, and delicious. Far outshining your typical one pan/sheetpan/weeknight suggestion from other sources. I’ve used it almost exclusively for months and show no signs of slowing down.

I recently picked up a pair of Vans UltraRange shoes and I think I’ve found my new go-to shoe. I’ve owned plenty of Vans over the years — mostly the Authentic and Old Skool products, but as an old(er) dude with high arches, I could never wear them all day without my feet hurting. The UltraRanges have the same classic look, but with added support and a roomier shell for wide feet like mine. Right now they’re 30% off over on the Vans website – get ‘em while they’re hot!

I’m fully back on what what the kids are callin’ physical media. Vinyl, film cameras, printed photos, buying and making zines, old BMX and skate mags from the early 2000s, and I’m lookin’ at Blu-ray next! Maybe it’s a response to streaming wars, AI, social media and phone fatigue, or maybe I just love this stuff again? Either way, it’s been fun!

I am attending a book swap this week, which I thought was an awesome idea for a book club party. You bring books you want others to read or you want to pass on. Then every book gets put in a big pile and you go through each one and claim what you want. Not a revolutionary idea, but super fun and useful for a holiday swap. Add wine and snacks. Party!
